We started Blue Cranes in 2017, as a high-school club that has grown to be an official club with more than 12 teams . juniors and seniors male and female. We are still growing and striving to be better every day.
Our vision is to create the perfect basketball platform in South Africa by providing our players with a safe, engaging and accessible environment in which they can build their skills and confidence
The future of basketball is in our hands. Blue Cranes Basketball academy provide South Africa's most talented boys and girls with the knowledge, skills and discipline to take their game to the next level

Matthew Peter Ford is a serial entrepreneur, investor, personal trainer, and basketball coach. He is a man of many talents, but his greatest passion is helping others achieve their goals.
Matthew grew up in a low-income family, but he never gave up on his dreams. He worked hard and eventually achieved success in business, personal training, and basketball coaching.
Matthew is a firm believer that anyone can achieve anything they set their mind to. He is passionate about helping people reach their full potential, and he is committed to providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
